Why it matters in the argument
Scripture says God created alone, then the New Testament places creation in Christ. The identity claim is stronger than merely saying Jesus assisted another Creator. These passages identify who is revealed in Jesus: not a lesser god or a separate divine being, but the one invisible God made known in genuine human life.
Apostolic connection
Because the LORD says He created by Himself, New Testament creation passages reveal Jesus within the identity of the one Creator. Apostolic Christology holds the full deity and full humanity of Jesus together. God did not stop being Spirit; He came and acted in the flesh He truly assumed.
Common misunderstanding
Language such as ‘by’ or ‘through’ does not require a second creator beside God; Scripture also describes God creating by His word, wisdom, power, and will. Saying God was manifested in flesh does not erase Christ’s humanity, and recognizing genuine Sonship does not require an eternal second divine center beside God.
